Administration Police

The administration police carry out the duties in accordance with the law, eliminate any hazard from the administration and maintain the security and interests of the administration. With respect to the police duties of ROC, the administration police take charge of the general duties mainly, and are assisted by the specialized police forces. The assignment of police duties, based on the way to be carried out, can be distinguished into six patterns: household visits, patrolling, raids, guarding, duty officers and reserves. Police duties are carried out around the clock. Therefore, there is the Duty Command Center set up in each City/County Police Precinct or above, operating 24 hours a day to collect updated intelligence about social security and to command and control the operation of each police unit by applying flexible police communication networks.
